Ryan Segars is a Senior Vice President within EagleBank’s Commercial Real Estate Group based in Bethesda, Maryland. He is a seasoned real estate banker with extensive experience in business development, relationship management and client retention. In his current role, Mr. Segars manages a portfolio of commercial real estate loans aggregating nearly $700 million in loan commitments. Prior to joining EagleBank, Mr. Segars was a commercial real estate lender at Key Bank, Builder’s Bank, Industrial Bank, and Wells Fargo, where he completed the Wells Fargo’s formal Credit Management Training Program in 1998.

In addition to being a Trinity Housing Board Member, Mr. Segars is also an active Board Member for the “Boys and Girls Club of Greater Washington” where he chairs the Marketing Committee, as well as “Casey Cares”, a non-profit organization that provides uplifting programs and activities for critically ill children and their families in eight states. From 2015 through 2020, Mr. Segars was member of the Board of Directors for the “District Alliance for Safe Housing” (DASH), a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide innovative access to safe housing and services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence and their families as they rebuild their lives on their own terms. He is involved in several organizations including, but not limited to, the African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP) and the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA). He is also a member of Metropolitan AME Church.

Mr. Segars received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Hampton University in 1993 and a Master of Business Administration from Howard University’s School of Business in 1997. He and his wife Vanessa, along with their two daughters Delaney (18) and Declan (13) reside in Washington, D.C. His hobbies include golf, tennis, squash, and snowboarding.
